Okay, so I ordered these Pikolinos Arenales wedge sandals in 2 sizes. The 39 and the 40.
First, the shoes are gorgeous! The leather and the colors are beautiful. The style is very attractive on the foot.
HOWEVER… the adjustable strap on the back of the shoes on both pair are a little too high and it hits my outside ankle bone.
They rub on the ankle bone, making it very uncomfortable to walk in.
I LOVE the shoe, but sadly I will have to return both pairs.
If the back ankle strap were just a little lower I would have kept one of the pairs.
The size 39 fit OKAY, but if it were warm out and my feet would swell a bit, they would be too tight.
The size 40 fit a bit looser, and this is the pair I would have kept had it not been for the ankle strap rubbing on the ankle bone.
