there is a part of the right shoe that digs into my ankle. Very uncomfortable!

Looking for a sandal with a rubber sole, and something comfortable and more trim fitting without the broad straps and thick cork sole of a
‘comfort” sandal, I tried these. The picture on the site doesn’t capture the look on, they are sleeker. The leather is a rich color and has a smooth finish, with subtle detail. The footbed is slightly molded. The padding on the strap in the back hits just right. The fit was great, other brands have been too loose on my foot and these were the ones that fit both around the ankle /heel and across the instep/toes.

I wear 9-1/2 in most shoes and 10 in exercising shoes. I ordered 9-1/2 in these sandals and they look and feel too short. That said, I was able to tighten the toe box area to keep my toes from going over the front edge of the sandals, and they feel fine. They don’t rub against my ankle bone, toes, or heels—hooray!!
