This is my second pair of shoes by this company and I love them! They run a bit narrow, which is great for me, as I take a narrow anyway. They are very stylish and comfortable, but I did have to put some thin innersoles in them, as the padding seems so thin and there is not much cushioning. That makes two pairs and I have ordered three more! I guess that says it all!
Susan C –
Although this shoe is a medium width, it fits my bunions and other issues great so I think they run a bit wider. comfortable, great color with jeans, can walk all day in these shoes!

Wonderful Italian made shoe. Feels like a slipper. Toe slightly narrow so long walks aren’t good or toes pinch. Beautiful design and sole.

Beautifully made shoes in a beautiful blue color (“jeans”) really is a good description of the color. Sadly the shoe runs not only short about a size, but it was also too narrow – especially in the toe box which has a slight point to it. I’m a “comfy shoe” person at this point in my life & due to some past injuries, surgeries & joint problems I just don’t keep shoes unless I can tell they’re going to be comfortable for longer than hour. That said, if you have a naturally narrow foot, I would certainly give these a try, because they really are a work of art! I’m giving a 5 star rating based on the workmanship & style. (I sized up when I ordered because I had worn this brand before, so they do run true to size.)

I wear a size 11 1/2 and it is so hard to find shoes that fit because most shoe makers want to make the heel so large that they slip off my foot. Well not these, if your foot is slender but long these are the shoes for you! And sooo comfortable!

These shoes are so well made & comfortable that I’ve bought four pairs since 2013, two of those four just last month (planning ahead). I was thrilled to find them here, and ordered the two pairs to replace the ones I had to throw out last fall.
I wear these shoes almost daily in the summer and into the warmer days of autumn. Each pair lasted a year and a half with another 6 months of use as gardening shoes.
They are very versatile shoes; ideal for traveling because they are lightweight and don’t take up much room in a suitcase. They look great worn with a nice skirt for dinners out, or with jeans and a tee for running around.
The leather is soft, and does stretch somewhat in the width. I wear a medium wide shoe, and these fit right out of the box, then develop a very small give in the width within a week or two of wearing them.
As a bonus, I’ve rarely had a week go by without a compliment on them!

I was looking for flats that offer a bit more support than ballet flats but are also cute and, above all, comfortable to spend a whole day in, and these are perfect. I own three other Pikolinos shoes and these ones are made with the usual high-quality leather and workmanship.
My Pikolinos boots (which I wear with socks) are size 38 so I figured I could get the Jerez in 37 (since I would wear them barefoot), however, as other reviews mention, the front part is narrower than in other Pikolinos shoes; so I had to go a size up, as I prefer the front of my foot to feel as comfortable as possible, and in the 37 my toes felt very crowded. The 38 fits much better, though I would have preferred that these shoes were not as wider in the front.
I got them in the Sandia color and the color is adorable, can’t wait for summer!

I love – love – love these shoes! Usually I don’t even try a flat that doesn’t have a strap or tie or some way to hold the shoe on my foot. The reviews on this shoe encouraged me to try this brand/style – thank goodness. Last year I bought the Brandy shoe first and then the Black shoe and now am going to buy one of the others. They are somewhat narrow – but they fit my somewhat narrow foot. I don’t have to worry about them slipping off my heels- ever! The leather is so soft and the style is dressy enough to wear anywhere.

Great looking shoe with ability to be worn with jeans or casual dress. I do replace the insole with a little more support. That happens after 30 years of standing behind the stylist chair. I ordered my usual size and the fit was perfect. I have the brandy, blue, and just got the black. I never fail to get complimented when I wear them.

These are absolutely beautiful shoes. I bought them in blue, and it’s a gorgeous shade. As others have commented, they’re narrow toward the toes. Although I desperately wanted to keep them, I had to send them back.

First of all, I have 4 pairs of these shoes. Needless to say, I LOVE them. They are the next best thing to “houseshoes.” I have gone up one-half size since the first pair I purchased was in a “shoe store” and this size was good. Be good to have Mist back.

I love these shoes! I can’t wear heels, and after a while most flats all start to look alike – just different colors; it’s hard to find flats that really stand out. This design is very unusual with the cutouts and the topstitching and I’ve received so many compliments.
In terms of fit and comfort they’re great right out of the box, no break-in period. The leather truly is butter-soft. I listed it as moderate arch support, but it was fine for me.
The one thing to take note of is the lemony-scent of the leather. It’s not an unpleasant smell as far as I’m concerned; quite the opposite. Nor is it overpowering. But for folks who are super-sensitive to scents I thought I should mention it. I’m sure it will dissipate over time unless you keep them stored in the box.
Final assessment: Great shoes!

The shoe is beautiful and a work of art. It is lovely to look at. Regretfully, not so lovely on my feet. I was looking for something I could walk in for the better part of the day and based on other reviews thought I’d try this model. I have two other pair of Pikolinos and they are quite comfy. The first thing I noticed is my big toe getting snagged in the perforated leather upper. The sole is also rather funky – again cute to look at but not comfy. Instead of a ‘normal’ sole, this one doesn’t actually cover the whole bottom of the foot. Instead, it is made in artistic sections which left my out foot not supported. Back it went.

Feels like wearing socks, that’s how comfy these are. Fit like a glove out of the box, even with my Protalus orthotic. The soft give in the leather convinced me that these won’t stretch out and get floppy in the future. Bought 2 colors and another model that’s similar. New to Pikolinos, wish they made more models! Nicest pair of shoes I’ve had, and they’ve taught me that you get what you pay for in the end.
Sandia is nearly a red leather, absolutely beautiful. Resemble a moccasin. There’s a flower pattern on the toe box, which was a surprise because I didn’t see a flower shape in the pictures here on Zappo.

I have about 5 pair of Jerez. Obvious I like them. I wear 39 when normally I wear 40. Only annoyance is that stitching is NOT white as shown in photo — it is beige to brown. Older models were white which I prefer.
Marianne –
A beautiful shoe! Love the heel tab for driving.
Quality made. Like a perfect ballet shoe.

Do NOT buy! Cute shoes, but the stitching on the side broke within 2 months of wearing the shoes. Tried to get the shoes repaired, but the only possible repair is unattractive. My shoe repair person said the lacing string is too thin to support wear. (I have narrow feet, so it was not do to a poor fit.)

I purchased these awesome shoes in a beautiful green color a few years ago. I really wanted to replace the Green pair, as I seriously wear them almost daily, and they have widened over time. Darn, so sad, no longer available in Green, so I purchased Brandy color, which complements my red hair. (sadly, not so great with my skin color) Truth is, I always received so many complements, when wearing the Green color. I will say, I have taken my green shoes in, to have the “top back side” of shoes repaired twice in the few years. My repair guy always does a super repair job for $18? Well worth it! I also wash the super soft removable leather insoles with a powder I use on my expensive bras, then let them air dry over night.
Janet –
I just reordered this exact shoe I purchased 6 years ago. The original shoe was still in still perfect condition, but having been worn so much had just lost their shape. Zappos carries some of my favorite brands that literally wear like iron and Pikolinos is one of them. They are worth the price, however I am very disappointed and wary to see that these shoes which used to made in Spain are now made in China.
Gwen –
I was a bit hesitant to order but so glad I did. They are super cute, soft, and wearable right out of the box! I wear an 8, bought an 8 and they are perfect. The black contrast is a nice beige color so the threads don’t look dirty. My favorite though has to be pickle. The green is a fantastic neutral olive. Such a good purchase as all my Pikolinos are.

I seem to have consistency issues with this brand, and not just this style. The gold pair fit just right, but the white ones too tight. I feel like i need to go up half a size but they’re out of stock. It’s probably because the leather is slightly thicker and stiffer than the metallic one, so it is just more constricting and presses down on one toe. Would still recommend these, they are flexible and fit literally ‘like a glove’ ..if they fit. Another issue i have with the brand, though, is that seams and edges are somewhat poorly finished and this creates scratchy spots that jab in sensitive parts of the foot like especially under the ankle. And left and right shoes can be quite different in size. So somewhat unpredictable over all. I sense some great concepts but poor quality control. Love the new slides though.

Oh my goodness, these are the most comfortable flats I’ve ever had the joy to slip my feet into. I was looking for a packable travel shoe that would look good with everything from dresses to shorts, a shoe I could slip into easily for trips to a hotel laundry room (or late vending machine run), something that would smush without damage to save luggage space, and with a good non-slip tread.
After trying on every shoe in a 100 mile radius of my home and testing the patience of Zappos fantastic return policy, I finally decided to give these a go even though they looked too pretty to be comfortable. Well, color me amazed because these things are the unicorn of footwear — slim and elegant, comfy, packable, non-slip, and made of quality leather.
I am not an easy fit, I have feet that are slim at the heel and wide in front, some weirdo surgical scarring that is easily irritated by seams, and toes that can’t stand to be crowded. I usually end up with an 8.5 wide, or 9 regular and since Pikolinos don’t offer wide widths, I went with the 9. These look really skinny in the toe box area, but apparently they’ve used Tardis tech and the inside is roomier than the outside.

These were so comfortable immediately out of the box that I didn’t want to take them off. Years later I can still go for miles long walks in them with no discomfort, and I get compliments on them wherever I go.

I’m so happy! I’ve been trying to find this shoe in the ocean color for over 2 years. I wore my first pair out. These can’t be polished because of the stitching. I still have it in black and silver. The ocean (blue) is finally back in stock! I love these shoes. I have a narrow foot and they fit me great. I use custom orthotics in them. I get compliments. They are comfortable, can be dress or casual and are beautiful.

These are very comfortable. They are quite supple and fit like a glove. I wear them without socks. Fabulous shoes.
