Great looking comfortable boot, but I often find the European sizes–where there is no half size available–doesn’t work for me. I wear an 8.5, and ordered 39, which was just a tad too short. I know the 40 will feel sloppy. I liked the unusual reddish-brown color. Had to return.

I normally don’t purchase shoes at this price, but these are well worth it! I bought the size 10.5 -11 which makes them close to being true to size for me. I wear a 10.5 to 11 in athletic shoes, a smaller size in sandals. They have about a thumb’s space but I wouldn’t go down in size because the width is a perfect medium. The good thing about these boots is that you can loosen or tighten the laces to adjust the width to some degree. The leather is soft, no hurting spots for me (which is saying something!!). The zipper does not rub my ankle and toe depth is good. The insole of removable. It’s fairly comfortable. There’s not a lot of arch but it’s better than most I’ve tried. You can easily put a different insole in. Another plus is there’s no slipping in the heel area. I’ve tried so many boots, I’m surprised Zappos has put up with me(thank you!), but who else has such a great selection and fast turn-around!

These are beautifully crafted boots! They are super comfortable, too! The shoelaces add to the style but they are extremely long. I decided not to keep them because I realized that I wouldn’t use them very often and at this price point its not practical.

This is the first time I’ve purchased Pikolinos and think they are AWESOME. I’ve never had leather shoes like this: soft and supple and no break in period! Wish they came in more colors . . .

So very cute! Love the contrasting laces, the leather, the soles, everything. This mountain-looking boot is very stylish yet not the least bit heavy and cumbersome. I bought my regular size and it fits great.

I wear a 6.5 US to 7 US and ordered the US Women’s 6.5-7. Unfortunately for me, the shoe did not have enough space between the top of the shoe and the insole for my toes to be comfortable. If there had been more space, the shoe would have been the right length. Overall, it’s a cute boot, but for the price, I would expect my feet to be in heaven, and they just weren’t.

Beautiful, stylish boots. Size was perfect and consistent with all my other Pikolinos shoes/boots. However, the insole had way too much arch support for me. Yes, the insole is removable which is a plus. I did try replacing it with my own insoles, but it was not as comfortable in the heel area as the original and the boots felt a little larger on me with the replacement insole inserted. Sadly, I am returning these. I wish Pikolinos would offer a replacement insole for purchase for those of us who need cushion, but not arch support.
